Keybird Prints is the online name I use across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube to showcase my work in 3D printing, 3D modeling, lasers, and other engineering topics. I launched the account in 2020 with the initial goal of marketing products I sold, but quickly pivoted to creating engaging content about unique and often anime inspired creations I was making. This shift resonated with my audience, and within just three months, I gained 100,000 followers. Since then, my following has grown to over 400,000 followers, where I continue to share my passion for innovative projects.

This project was inspired by an online drawing of Turbo Granny, a character from the popular anime DanDaDan. I brought the character to life by sculpting her in Nomad Sculpt, 3D printing the model, and hand-painting the final piece. The video performed exceptionally well. Its success was fueled by the unique inspiration behind the project, compelling storytelling, filming and editing style, the finished model's shock factor, and the upload's strategic timing.
